The purpose of the WMF Auxiliary is to assist, promote, and morally support the Wet Mountain Fire Protection District (WMFPD), particularly in such matters as fundraising, and for any other lawful purpose; provide charitable and educational support to the community; provide financial assistance for fire department personnel and/or their immediate family who experience qualifying medical or financial hardships/needs; provide financial assistance to victims of fire incidents; provide support to firefighters on scene and at the station during an emergency event; and to assist with community functions as able. Our membership consists of any immediate family member (18 years or older) of WMFPD personnel or retirees from this district or an applicant who is sponsored by a firefighter from the WMFPD.
