PAWSitive Reaction is an Animal Rescue group that was founded in Custer County in 2003, and we are still excited to be an active part of the non-profit community all these years. This is an incredible part of the Rockies where the landscapes are as big and beautiful as the hearts of the people who live here. Our hope is to make our area as one known for its kindness to animals, and that we all work together for the common goal of what is best for the pets.
PAWSitive Reaction is taking care of dogs and cats that have been left to fend for themselves or that were rescued from horrid situations of life and death. We realize that things happen in life which makes it difficult to maintain “the way things were” in stressful situations. We assist with pet food, pet shelter, and veterinary care as much as we are financially able to do so. Please keep your pets ID tags and/or chips up to date. Spay and neuter is the answer to pet overpopulation, NOT euthanasia. Millions of animals are languishing in overcrowded shelters. Please adopt from a rescue group or shelter and not from breeders. Foster, volunteer, do what you can to help the millions of animals that desperately need loving homes.
PAWsitive Reaction’s work depends on the donations (monies, gift certificates, pet food, fencing, dog houses, carriers, etc.) that we receive from the Custer County area, and from the many kind beneficiaries who simply love animals, who wish the best for them, one and ALL.
