Learn by Doing is the motto of 4-H! Custer County’s 4-H members choose from more than 300 project areas each year to include small engine mechanics, baking, leather craft, archery, wood working, jewelry making, clothing, baking, horse, livestock and small animals and so much more. 4-H pairs the passions and talents of our adult volunteers with our 4-H members to the enrich the skills and life experiences of our members. We believe in the ability of our youth to become lifelong leaders and active community members for a better Custer County. There are currently 126 4-H members and volunteers enrolled in Custer County’s 4-H program.
