Collective Giving. Local Impact.
The Wet Mountain Valley Community Foundation’s Community Grantmaking Fund empowers donors to strengthen our community through shared, high-impact grantmaking. Instead of establishing an individual donor-advised fund, you can contribute to a collaborative pool that supports local nonprofits across a range of needs—from animal welfare and education to arts, health, and land preservation.
Grants are awarded twice annually, with a minimum grant size of $1,000. Donors may indicate focus areas and may also opt to support youth engagement in philanthropy through our Youth in Philanthropy Initiative (YIPI).
This flexible, purpose-restricted fund is overseen by the WMVCF Board and Development Committee, ensuring transparency, accountability, and alignment with our mission.
Ways to Get Involved:
- Make a one-time or recurring donation
- Recommend a focus area for your gift
- Designate a representative to carry on your donor intent
- Encourage local youth by participating in YIPI
Fill out the Donor Intent Form for this fund before donating.
Every gift is tax-deductible and subject to a low administrative fee to support fund management.
Join us in making a greater impact—together.
