WMVCF Nonprofit Training Support Program

Empowering Nonprofits Through Education

The Wet Mountain Valley Community Foundation is committed to strengthening our local nonprofits by providing financial support for professional training and development. In 2025, we are offering funding to help cover the cost of training opportunities provided by organizations such as the Colorado Nonprofit Association, CRC America, and Chaffee County Community Foundation—as well as other recognized training providers.

Funding Guidelines

    • Nonprofits must identify the training they wish to attend before applying.
    • Each nonprofit may apply twice per calendar year, with a maximum of $200 per application. Funding is limited.
    • Training from organizations beyond those listed will be considered.
    • Approved funds will be sent via check, made payable to the nonprofit, and mailed to the organization’s primary address.
  • Funds must be used within 12 months of receipt.
  • At the end of the year, recipients must submit a brief summary detailing how the funds were utilized.

Please note: Funding applies only to training class fees and does not cover related expenses such as travel, lodging, or meals.
